Phobia is a mise en scene of fears and curiosity. A scene in which the majority have been involved in the story in any part of their lives. The phenomenal moment created by the capturing of the spider - which triggers our fear with its eerie charm. Fear provokes action, the glass dome imprisons the spider, the fear is now trapped. The moment of imprisonment illuminates the scene and fear is replaced by curious observations.
Phobia is composed of a gold plated spider and a mouth-blown clear glass dome standing on the calacatta oro marble base. Light intensity can be controlled by the touch-sensitive slate on the surface of the marble.
